Sat., Oct. 1, 1932 

We left Dayton at 10 a.m. with 9 gals of gas at 16¢ = 114   Ashland 3 gals @ 17¢ - 51   Cleveland 6¾ gal @ 17¢ c 1.15   Arrived at 4.30 P.M   went to the Antirum:  noon  4.50 garrage .75¢   called Catherine Grace and took them to dinner at      Catherine drove us around to see the town in the evening   was very tired   went to bed about 12 o clock.

Sun., Oct. 2, 1932 

We left Cleveland about 7 A.M.   traveled all day.   got gas 3 gal at Cory .49 ¢   stopped at Youngstown 1 qt oil 30¢  Warren 7 gal at 16½ = 1.1¢     Galeton 4 18 = .64 7 16 1.09     got breakfast at Towanda  good & clean     stayed all night at Porte Alleganey   pd 5.00 for all    went to a picture show at Port Allegany   was very silly.

Mon., Oct. 3, 1932 

We left Canoe Inn Port Allegeny at 7 a.m. and drove drove all day   landed in Cleveland in the evening   we crossed the new George Washington bridge paid .50¢

Tue., Oct. 4, 1932 

In New York City good and tired   Ethel took Mary to school.

Ethel took Mary to school   We got our trunk today

Sat., October 8, 1932 

Ethel took Mary to the Junior league for a swimming lesson.  Then she took her violin lesson in the morning   was here for lunch   Mrs Ruth Sanford Elliot Dorthy and Mrs Sanford here for supper

We all went for a ride in the P.M. and stopped at a picture show and it was very good

Ethel took Mary to School

Ethel took Mary to school in the a.m. and to a swiming lesson in the P.M 

Coolege made a wonderful speech

Ethel took Mary to school then she took me to the Doctor   cost me $3.00

Ethel took Mary to school then went to meat the Lindeman family from Dayton   took lunch with them at the Waldorf.   Mary played tennis in the P.M.     Jean gave her a violin lesson in the evening

Ethel took Mary to school then took her to her swiming lesson 
Went shopping     bought each one of us a black velvet   pd. $39.50 each

Ethel took Mary to the swimming practice     Jean gave Mary down and had a fitting in fun dresses

Ethel took Mary to Sunday school for the first of the season.  We all went to Jamaca and it rained as usual

James took Mary to school   The garage man took Mary to school and went after her at 2 P.M.   Ethel came home at 5 P.M   Ruth Shaffner brought her   Grace Patton here for supper and Mr       came after her in the evening   Ruth brought her some apples & Pears

Ethel took Mary to Natural Museum of History to hear a lecture on birds by Mr. Brand.   Mr Runyon sent Mary 2 tickets.  first of the season   Jean gave her a violin lesson & gave her a new piece of music  35¢   Kittie Cheatan took her out for a walk   Harry W here for supper

Ethel took Mary to Sunday school.   in the morning then we went to Sandfords for sunday supper    had a nice time     Ruths mother was their

Ethel took Mary to school     The Painters came in to Paint     we went up on the 4th floor to sleep.   it is a terrible mess

Ethel took Mary to sunday school     we got our lunch then went to Coney Island then stopped to see Mrs Miller on our way home

Mon., October 31, 1932 

Ethel took Mary to school then to gymnasium in the P.M.     Miss Reily was here for dinner. We saw the President & Mrs Hoover over here at Carnegie Hall     he spoke at the Madison Square Garden
